Berlin Update March 19, 2022

 Dear All,

I had just a few minutes to connect with Janice and couple of times yesterday, Saturday, March 19th.  This was their second day in Berlin. The first day was training and orientation.

Yesterday was an incredibly busy day. Many refugees came to the Chosen People Ministries center (called Beit Sar Shalom Germany). They held two congregational services at the center and a special Purim Party (the holiday based upon the story/history from the book of Esther). The team danced and played games with kids. That evening, after dinner, the team then went to Berlin's Central Train station and began ministering until quite late.  I saw in their correspondence that some only returned to their accommodations at 3am.  Janice wrote about it, "We were all able to serve and the need is great. We served until after midnight. Met and helped many wonderful people." 

She told me an amazing story about how she woke up early, to special requests. The team leader rushed to a local church to translate for some refugees during the Sunday morning service. She was also invited to share from the pulpit.  Janice and another team member were asked to help escort a daughter and her elderly father to the train station. They had a chance to talk about their escape from Ukraine and their family relationships. The daughter, who is a believer shared how God guided her out of Ukraine.  Janice was able to encourage her and listen to her stories. There are many stories that the team wants to share, but they haven't had time to record them yet.

They are already at the train station again today. They each have to get a negative covid test daily before being allowed to serve at the train station. So pray that they continue to get clearance to enter and serve.  Pray also that they will have the energy they need both physically and spiritually.

Prayer Requests regarding the recent uptick in Rocket fire, Riots and terror attacks

Dear friends and ministry partners, In recent days there have been several rocket attacks at Israel from the terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and in Southern Lebanon. As of the writing of this prayer request about 80 rockets have been fired.  On the one hand, this is a major escalation, yet on the other hand, there is always some expected escalation around the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.  For the entire month, we normally experience riots and other violence with terror organizations often calling for terror attacks against civilians. This year we have already experienced a large increase in terror attacks and the Israeli security establishment has been working hard to thwart terror continuously.  They stated in the news recently that they have been able to thwart over 200 planned terror attacks since the beginning of the year.  The success of their efforts is apparent, but not as apparent as their failure to thwart terror attacks.  This morning two sisters in their 20's were

Important Update! Significant News to report!

Dear Prayer Partners, Jason and Janice Rose We are really excited to share some incredibly amazing news! This update is a bit longer than usual, but our big news is here at the beginning!  We are incredibly blessed by your prayerful support of our ministry. God has truly expanded and stretched us, as we have grown into the ministers that we are today. Through that growth, the Lord also expanded the team of people that minister alongside us. When we relocated to Israel in 2015, Mitch Glaser (President of Chosen People Ministries) asked us to start a Messianic Center in Ramat Gan. We had previously started a Messianic Center in South Tel Aviv, but the area grew dangerous over time. Although we loved the facility, we were renting it and that provided a measure of instability. It was certainly what we needed at the time. We learned a lot. The center in Ramat Gan was the fruit of our education.
