Celebrating recent Birthdays!

We celebrated the recent birthdays of Shimon (9), Binyamin (7) and Gidon (3) with one big party this week. We were so blessed to have so many of their close friends come to our apartment. With so many kids, we expected a lot of altercations, but these were great kids and behaved so well!  We were really impressed but how much fun they had without any problems. One of Janice's good friends made each boy a special cake with their favorite colors and characters! Such talent! For two of them the birthday party was quite delayed because of logistics, but it was great for them to share a party! The kids had a great time, and the parents also had an amazing time too as they got caught up with each other. We love hosting these kinds of events in our home!

This week's Big Summer Hurrah!

This week we will have two larger events and these will nearly close the summer for us. On Tuesday, we will hold a concert with two very talented musicians. One is a local talent from the Jerusalem area and the other is coming with a group on a Tour/Ministry trip organized by Chosen People Ministries. The tour is called  Experience Israel and it gives young professionals an opportunity to see the land and meet the people. Both of these Musicians will provide an amazing opporutnity to invite believers and non-believers. So please keep this event in your prayers.

At the end of the week, we will have our Family Kabalat Shabbat Dinner. This event is geared towards families and is a time of food, fellowship and an encouraging testimony. Believers are encouraged to invite their family and friends. This is another great opportunity to break down the barriers to the gospel and have life changing conversations!  Please keep these event in your prayers. 

Summer Break!

Summer is a busy time for our staff! We have staff members traveling to participate in our Shalom New York Outreach, travel to the Far East and the USA in order to teach in churches. We are blessed by the opportunities to teach and share where the Lord opens the doors.  Please keep our staff in your prayers as we travel, teach, preach, and share the Gospel!

In September most of our local staff will be back in Israel. We will restarted our classes, Bible studies and prayer meetings, while we plan more activities and outreaches.  We are so grateful for your prayers and support, especially as a we plan this new season of ministry and outreach!

Coming to the USA

As we have mentioned in our previous updates, we are coming this Fall to the USA and we would love to see our prayer partners and ministry supporters!  If you want to know the specific dates, click on this link to our previous update in which we detail where and when we will be in certain areas.  We are currently updating our website: www.jasonrose.org to include our speaking schedule. So you can check there in the near future to see where we have already been invited to speak. Prayer Requests regarding the recent uptick in Rocket fire, Riots and terror attacks

Dear friends and ministry partners, In recent days there have been several rocket attacks at Israel from the terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and in Southern Lebanon. As of the writing of this prayer request about 80 rockets have been fired.  On the one hand, this is a major escalation, yet on the other hand, there is always some expected escalation around the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.  For the entire month, we normally experience riots and other violence with terror organizations often calling for terror attacks against civilians. This year we have already experienced a large increase in terror attacks and the Israeli security establishment has been working hard to thwart terror continuously.  They stated in the news recently that they have been able to thwart over 200 planned terror attacks since the beginning of the year.  The success of their efforts is apparent, but not as apparent as their failure to thwart terror attacks.  This morning two sisters in their 20's were

Important Update! Significant News to report!

Dear Prayer Partners, Jason and Janice Rose We are really excited to share some incredibly amazing news! This update is a bit longer than usual, but our big news is here at the beginning!  We are incredibly blessed by your prayerful support of our ministry. God has truly expanded and stretched us, as we have grown into the ministers that we are today. Through that growth, the Lord also expanded the team of people that minister alongside us. When we relocated to Israel in 2015, Mitch Glaser (President of Chosen People Ministries) asked us to start a Messianic Center in Ramat Gan. We had previously started a Messianic Center in South Tel Aviv, but the area grew dangerous over time. Although we loved the facility, we were renting it and that provided a measure of instability. It was certainly what we needed at the time. We learned a lot. The center in Ramat Gan was the fruit of our education.
