Summer Prayers and Praise


Jason's Studies.

Prayer for the results of the exam that Jason just took would be grateful appreciated, as we await the
results (30 days). As we have mentioned before, we are hoping to start a new outreach, in which we take Israelis to Biblical Sites. This required Jason to spend nearly two years (August 2017 to present) in a Tour Guide Licensing class. The class was intense but the examination process is even more intense.  There are four exams that Jason needs to pass and failing one exam means he cannot progress to the next one (typically meaning a delay of six months until the retake is possible). Each exam is progressively more difficult. About three weeks ago, Jason passed the first exam 84%.  Together with 30 of his classmates, Jason took the SECOND exam on Wednesday, June 5th. He feels comfortable that he passed, but we would love your prayers because there is a lot flexibility in the grading and the final grade really depends on the examiner's opinion. We should get the results by the beginning of July, but the THIRD exam will come before the results, on JUNE 21st. In this THIRD examination, Jason will stand in front of a committee of experts who will drill him with questions. Your prayers are very much appreciated both for the second and third exams.

Family Travel Plans

In September, Jason and the family will be going to the USA.  We would appreciate your prayers for all of the logistics and plans. We will be speaking in numerous places. Please pray for the kids as they will be away from their summer studies and the constant changing of locations.

Prayers for our Outreach Programs

As you know already, we are always trying to find ways to bring believers and not-yet-believers into the same room.  We hold a lot of activities and these bring about many opportunities to share the Gospel. Please pray as we try and end the summer well with great activities and a lot of support from ministry teams that have come along side us this summer!



Praise Reports


  • Jason has so far performed well in his exams.
  • We started the year with a new staff member who is really helping us improve our outreaches
  • The anti-missionaries are activitely protesting our events, so we must be doing something right. Please pray for them to come to faith!
  • Praise God for the finances to bring the family to the USA this Fall both for speaking engagements and also to attend a family wedding.
  • Praise God that Janice and Jason will celebrate 13 years of marriage this July!
  • Praise God for the love and support of our entire prayer partner family.

Prayer Requests regarding the recent uptick in Rocket fire, Riots and terror attacks

Dear friends and ministry partners, In recent days there have been several rocket attacks at Israel from the terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and in Southern Lebanon. As of the writing of this prayer request about 80 rockets have been fired.  On the one hand, this is a major escalation, yet on the other hand, there is always some expected escalation around the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.  For the entire month, we normally experience riots and other violence with terror organizations often calling for terror attacks against civilians. This year we have already experienced a large increase in terror attacks and the Israeli security establishment has been working hard to thwart terror continuously.  They stated in the news recently that they have been able to thwart over 200 planned terror attacks since the beginning of the year.  The success of their efforts is apparent, but not as apparent as their failure to thwart terror attacks.  This morning two sisters in their 20's were

Important Update! Significant News to report!

Dear Prayer Partners, Jason and Janice Rose We are really excited to share some incredibly amazing news! This update is a bit longer than usual, but our big news is here at the beginning!  We are incredibly blessed by your prayerful support of our ministry. God has truly expanded and stretched us, as we have grown into the ministers that we are today. Through that growth, the Lord also expanded the team of people that minister alongside us. When we relocated to Israel in 2015, Mitch Glaser (President of Chosen People Ministries) asked us to start a Messianic Center in Ramat Gan. We had previously started a Messianic Center in South Tel Aviv, but the area grew dangerous over time. Although we loved the facility, we were renting it and that provided a measure of instability. It was certainly what we needed at the time. We learned a lot. The center in Ramat Gan was the fruit of our education.
