Shalom!

I hope that your summer is going well! We are in the midst of an intensive one-week outreach in "the other holy land" – Brooklyn, New York that we call Shalom Brooklyn. Please remember to pray for our staff and volunteers – about 50 of them – on the streets of Brooklyn sharing the Gospel with Jewish people. Additionally, some of our staff have joined brothers and sisters in the Philadelphia area who are sharing the Gospel at the Democratic National Convention. Please pray that the Lord will keep us cool, filled with His Spirit and provide lots of great opportunities to have personal conversations with Jewish people and non-Jews about the real answer to all of life's (and our nation's) problems – King Jesus!

On another note, if you've been reading some of our publications you know that we have been following a prayer-crafted strategic plan to reach hundreds of thousands of unreached Israelis in Tel Aviv and its suburbs. We finally rented a beautiful place in one of the largest suburbs of Tel Aviv called Ramat Gan. We are now in the process of renovating the space so that we can have children's and adult's meetings, Bible studies, plant a congregation, and much more.

Our team leader just asked me for the go-ahead to begin the renovation, and I want to pass some financial information along to you so that you can pray about supporting this great effort in Israel's largest city.

Our immediate need is for $70,000 to renovate and furnish the Greater Tel Aviv Messianic Center. This is an especially reasonable price as it includes both retrofitting a bathroom for those with disabilities, furnishing a small kitchenette, creating space for children's ministries, a security and sound system, and of course painting, cleaning, and much more. I would love to be able to tell our team in Tel Aviv that we have the money to go ahead and begin the demolition and construction.

Yes, I would like to donate to the Messianic Center!

One of my favorite needs, one that my wife and I plan to support, is the purchasing of chairs! Imagine having a center where you are inviting Israelis to come in to hear about Jesus and there is no place to sit?

So, in my opinion, chairs are a fundamental need and, though we really need your help for the entire project, you might not have the funds to do a whole lot and of course we understand this – but, surely you would have enough money to help buy a chair! You can do this for only $25. We only need 100 chairs - so please consider this as a small gift at this time if you are unable to help with more of the overall $70,000 renovation and furnishing budget.

Yes, I would like to donate $25 to provide chairs for the Messianic Center!

P.S. If you would like to participate in the ongoing expenses for the Greater Tel Aviv Messianic Center, which would cover rent and fees, the cost is $90,000 per year. Tel Aviv is an expensive city – but the greater Tel Aviv area has 3 million Jewish people! We can actually designate a monthly gift through our Watchmen for Jerusalem program which will enable you to help us with the almost $8,000 per month budget for ongoing ministries in the greater Tel Aviv area.

Prayer Requests regarding the recent uptick in Rocket fire, Riots and terror attacks

Dear friends and ministry partners, In recent days there have been several rocket attacks at Israel from the terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and in Southern Lebanon. As of the writing of this prayer request about 80 rockets have been fired.  On the one hand, this is a major escalation, yet on the other hand, there is always some expected escalation around the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.  For the entire month, we normally experience riots and other violence with terror organizations often calling for terror attacks against civilians. This year we have already experienced a large increase in terror attacks and the Israeli security establishment has been working hard to thwart terror continuously.  They stated in the news recently that they have been able to thwart over 200 planned terror attacks since the beginning of the year.  The success of their efforts is apparent, but not as apparent as their failure to thwart terror attacks.  This morning two sisters in their 20's were

Important Update! Significant News to report!

Dear Prayer Partners, Jason and Janice Rose We are really excited to share some incredibly amazing news! This update is a bit longer than usual, but our big news is here at the beginning!  We are incredibly blessed by your prayerful support of our ministry. God has truly expanded and stretched us, as we have grown into the ministers that we are today. Through that growth, the Lord also expanded the team of people that minister alongside us. When we relocated to Israel in 2015, Mitch Glaser (President of Chosen People Ministries) asked us to start a Messianic Center in Ramat Gan. We had previously started a Messianic Center in South Tel Aviv, but the area grew dangerous over time. Although we loved the facility, we were renting it and that provided a measure of instability. It was certainly what we needed at the time. We learned a lot. The center in Ramat Gan was the fruit of our education.
