Newest Little Rose

We are pleased to announce that the newest addition to our family arrived on July 3rd! As is the Israeli tradition, we did not announce his name until his Brit Milah. Gideon Daniel was born 7 lbs, 7 oz (3.38kg). As usual, there are stories to tell... And we are very blessed to know and trust in God's provision all along the way. Gideon was born perfectly healthy through natural delivery and one doctor described him as perfect!

Janice and the baby are doing very well. Everyone has fallen in love with our newest family member! We would appreciate your prayers as we adapt to life with another little person in our home.

Prayer Requests regarding the recent uptick in Rocket fire, Riots and terror attacks

Dear friends and ministry partners, In recent days there have been several rocket attacks at Israel from the terror organizations in the Gaza Strip and in Southern Lebanon. As of the writing of this prayer request about 80 rockets have been fired.  On the one hand, this is a major escalation, yet on the other hand, there is always some expected escalation around the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.  For the entire month, we normally experience riots and other violence with terror organizations often calling for terror attacks against civilians. This year we have already experienced a large increase in terror attacks and the Israeli security establishment has been working hard to thwart terror continuously.  They stated in the news recently that they have been able to thwart over 200 planned terror attacks since the beginning of the year.  The success of their efforts is apparent, but not as apparent as their failure to thwart terror attacks.  This morning two sisters...

Zoom with the Roses, July 15th

Dear Friends, First, I must apologize that the last email that went out had an old subject line from April. These emails are built on more than one platform and I forgot to double check the settings on one of the platforms before it was sent out. Sorry about the confusion. Second, the contents of the email were correct. We are hopeful that we will be able to arrange a Zoom meeting with some of our prayer partners, and as the Lord enables, we would like to do this more.  Here are the details.  We know that some of you won't be able to make this because of prior commitments, and that is expected, but for those who can make, we are honored that you would choose to spend some time with us on Zoom.
